What we store on your device when you use this website or a Frostique-powered storefront, and how to control it.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. We also use similar technologies — local storage, session storage and pixels — and this policy covers all of them.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — keep you signed in, remember your selected branch and language, hold your cart between pages, and protect forms against abuse. These cannot be switched off without breaking the service, and we do not ask consent for them.
- Preference — remember choices such as your locale and whether you have dismissed a banner.
- Analytics — tell us, in aggregate, which pages and features get used so we can improve them. We configure these to avoid identifying individuals wherever we can.
- Marketing — we do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent first.
3. Cookies set by others
Some cookies are set by providers we rely on rather than by us — for example our hosting and security layer, or the font and script services a page loads. Their use is governed by their own policies. We do not permit our providers to use data gathered on our sites for their own advertising.
4. Storefront cookies
When you order through a Frostique-powered bakery storefront, cookies are used to run that storefront — your cart, your branch, your session. The bakery is the controller of the resulting data; see their own notices for how they handle it.
5. How to control cookies
Every major browser lets you see the cookies stored, delete them, and block them for specific sites or entirely. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop sign-in, cart and branch selection from working.
You can also browse in private/incognito mode, which clears everything when you close the window.
